In short

DragonOS is cemaxecuter's Lubuntu-based desktop for software-defined radio. The current release is DragonOS Resolute (26.04). On 20 Oct 2026 the SourceForge summary said that, with last update 2026-08-21, and said Noble (24.04) and FocalX (22.04) remain. A later Chrome load of SourceForge was Cloudflare. The download page that rendered named Noble, FocalX, and Focal and did not name Resolute. The live user is live with no password. The download page printed no price.

Product pricing strategy

02

Free

The download page says DragonOS is free to download and community supported. No dollar price for the distribution was printed there on 20 Oct 2026. WarDragon is a separate commercial line. The same page says commercial WarDragon systems are manufactured and distributed by Millenium Products, and that WarDragon provides passive RF detection and situational awareness only. It is not a jammer, mitigation system, interdiction tool, or aircraft-control system. No WarDragon price was on that page. Do not invent one. The SourceForge counter of 1,137 downloads that week is a counter, not a fee. Hardware named on the download page, including RTL-SDR, HackRF One, LimeSDR, BladeRF, and Airspy, is equipment you buy from those vendors.

Utility and features

03

The download page at cemaxecuter.com/download/ calls DragonOS an out-of-the-box Linux distribution with a pre-installed suite of open-source software-defined radio tools, free to download and community supported. The x86_64 section says it is Lubuntu based, and that Noble, FocalX, and Focal builds are published in the same project. It says to take the most recent unless you need an older base. The live session user on that page is live, with no password, and it says to set your own credentials on install. The Pi64 section is an aarch64 Raspberry Pi build that needs a 32 GB card or larger, with default user dragon and password dragon. Older releases, that section says, use ubuntu.

  • Resolute is current. SourceForge named DragonOS Resolute (26.04) as the current release, last update 2026-08-21. The download page named Noble, FocalX, and Focal.
  • Live with no password. The download page says the x86_64 live user is live with no password, and the Pi user is dragon with password dragon.
  • WarDragon is separate. Millenium Products manufactures WarDragon. The page says it is passive RF detection only, and it printed no price.

The SourceForge project page returned HTTP 200 to a scripted read the same day. That summary said DragonOS Resolute (26.04) is the current release, a ground-up Lubuntu-based x86_64 system, and that Noble (24.04) and FocalX (22.04) remain for older hardware. It said the project was brought by cemaxecuter, with last update 2026-08-21, and its own counter of 1,137 downloads that week. A later Chrome load of the same SourceForge URL was a Cloudflare block, so that summary is cited from the scripted 200, not from a screenshot. This listing uses Resolute (26.04), last update 2026-08-21, as the current release, because that is the SourceForge sentence that named one. The download page stays a second list. No github.com DragonOS repository was confirmed. The download page's GitHub link that was present points at a WarDragon repository, which is a different product.

  1. 1

Cite Resolute (26.04), last update 2026-08-21, as current. Cite the download page when you mean Noble, FocalX, and Focal.

  2. 2

Set your own credentials before the live image leaves the bench. The page says the live user has no password.

  3. 3

Treat the desktop as a radio workstation. Do not describe it as a jammer or a transmission tool.

Caveats

04

The current release here is DragonOS Resolute (26.04), last update 2026-08-21, from the SourceForge summary that named a current release. The download page Chrome rendered says Noble, FocalX, and Focal, and tells you to take the most recent. It did not name Resolute. Do not swap Resolute for that list. A later Chrome load of SourceForge was Cloudflare.

Change the live account, which has no password, and the Pi account dragon/dragon, before the machine is shared. The download page lists receiver hardware. It also says WarDragon is passive detection only and not a jammer. This listing does not describe cellular interception or transmission. Receiving signals you are allowed to receive is the job the download page is for.

Potential use cases

06

  • A version note is about to call Noble the current DragonOS release. The SourceForge summary named Resolute (26.04) as the current release, last update 2026-08-21, and said Noble (24.04) and FocalX (22.04) remain. The download page Chrome rendered named Noble, FocalX, and Focal and did not name Resolute. Chrome later got a Cloudflare block on SourceForge. Cite Resolute as current, and cite the download page as the other list.
  • The live session is about to be left with no password. The download page says the x86_64 user is live with no password, and the Pi64 user is dragon with password dragon. Set credentials on install, which is the page's own instruction. Older Pi releases, that section says, use ubuntu.
  • WarDragon is about to be priced or described as a jammer. The download page says Millenium Products manufactures it, that it is passive RF detection only, and that it is not a jammer or an interdiction tool. No dollar price was printed. The radio desktop's hardware list is receivers. This listing does not describe transmission or cellular interception.

Hard cases

The case where the first result is easy to over-read.

Resolute and Noble become one release

SourceForge named Resolute (26.04), last update 2026-08-21, as the current release. The download page named Noble, FocalX, and Focal. Folding those names into one current release invents a sentence. Keep Resolute as current and keep the download-page list beside it.
